Mrs. Emilita B. Rafal, is an active member of KSK from Purok 4, Matalatala, Mabitac, Laguna. She is an elected Center President, and she is in her 2nd loan cycle amounting to P14,000.00. Her loan is intended to maintain their boat (bangka) for fishing managed by her husband, while Mrs. Rafal is in charge of selling fish and at the same time they supplied fish to small vendors within their community.  For additional income, Mrs. Rafal accepted a sub-contract of making a paper mosaic or “taka”. When she first heard about KSK, she thought of availing the loan for her electricity bill.
